Landscape Bed

Installation

We can help you install a brand new landscape bed from scratch! Here is our steps:

  1. First we would clear the area by removing any grass, weeds, or debris.

  2. Then outline the bed's shape using a hose or spray paint.

  3. Next, we dig up the existing soil to a depth of around 3-4 inches.

  4. Fill the area with landscaping fabric to prevent weed growth.

  5. Add a 2-3 inch layer of mulch or small rocks evenly within the bed.

  6. Use a rake to spread the mulch or rocks evenly and level the surface.

Application

If you already have rocks or mulch but need to have a re-application we can help you out. Here is our steps:

  1. We supply the rock/mulch and transport it to your property.

  2. We apply chemicals to ensure weeds die.

  3. We apply the rock/mulch to the desired location.

  4. Spread the rock/mulch to ensure there is a even surface.

  5. Finish with after pictures and send a job completion email.

Plant Installation + Removal

Installation

At Simplex Lawn Care, our plant installation service is designed to bring your landscape vision to life with precision and care. For flower installation, we carefully prepare the soil by adding necessary amendments to ensure optimal growing conditions, then meticulously plant each flower at the appropriate depth and spacing. When it comes to bushes, we dig wide and deep holes to accommodate their root systems, ensuring they are well-watered and properly mulched to promote healthy growth. For trees, our team selects the best location considering sunlight and space requirements, digs a hole twice the width of the root ball, and plants the tree with the utmost care, staking it if necessary to support young saplings. Our comprehensive installation process ensures that all plants have the best start in their new environment.

Removal

Our plant removal service is thorough and efficient, designed to clear unwanted or overgrown vegetation from your landscape with minimal disruption. For flowers, we gently uproot them, making sure to remove all roots to prevent regrowth and prepare the soil for new planting. When removing bushes, we dig around the base to expose the root system and extract the entire bush, including roots, to ensure it does not return. Tree removal is handled with the highest level of expertise; we assess the tree's size and condition, carefully cut it down in manageable sections, and remove the stump and root system to prevent future issues. At Simplex Lawn Care, we ensure that all removed plant materials are disposed of responsibly, leaving your landscape clean and ready for its next transformation.
